Here at Maples we have a wealth of experienced staff ready to assist you with legal matters.

Laura Walton ACILEx
Laura graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2019 and joined Maples in August 2023 as an assistant to Gemma Mayer at our Doncaster office, supporting on commercial property and residential conveyancing matters. She has since began her studies with CILEx, working towards eventually qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive.
Currently Laura works in the residential conveyancing department, handling both sales and purchases from initial instruction through to completion however does also still support the commercial property department.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys cooking, yoga and long Sunday walks with a pub roast at the end.

Abby Moon LLB
Abby joined the firm in March 2023 having started her Undergraduate Degree in Law with the Open University in 2018. Working as a Litigation Assistant and Trainee Solicitor in the Family Department, Abby has worked on a number of matters under the supervision of Anita Toal including divorce matters, child arrangements and financial matters. Abby has also done some work in the Criminal Department including advising clients accused of grave crimes, fraud and motoring offences.
Since joining Maples, Abby has completed her Undergraduate Degree and is now working towards obtaining a Master’s Degree in Professional Legal Practice. Abby is also taking her Solicitors Qualifying Exams after which she will remain working within the Family Department.
In her spare time, Abby enjoys going for long walks, reading and music. She is also currently renovating her first property.

Natasha Carvalho LLB
Natasha joined Maples Solicitors in September 2024 as a newly qualified solicitor.
Natasha is currently part of our Litigation Department assisting clients on debt recovery and Dispute Resolution issues as well as dealing with Employment law matters.
Outside of work, Natasha enjoys travelling and spending time with her young family.

Hussain Ali LLB
Hussain joined the firm in October 2024 as a newly qualified solicitor. Throughout his training, he developed a particular interest in commercial property, which ultimately led him to join our esteemed commercial property team.
Outside of work, Hussain enjoys travelling where he is always seeking new adventures and experiences in different cultures, cooking and experimenting with different cuisines, exploring the great outdoors and regularly taking country walks to unwind.

Abigail Deal LLB
Abigail joined the firm in January 2025 as a Newly Qualified Solicitor. During her studies at Nottingham Trent University and her Training Contract Abigail took a special interest in Commercial Property.
Outside of work Abigail enjoys traveling, reading, watching rugby and spending time with her family and friends.
